One aspect of my Ethnobotany class at the college is a monthly project called Plant ID Sheets. Each month we have to research, draw, and write down the background information on five different plants. The plants we choose to research are based on three other lists of plants determined by the teacher. Informational skills are essential for this project because we must find reference images and search online databases for specific information on these plants. It can be a lot harder to find resources at times because information on many Hawaiian and Polynesian introduced plants can be very limited.
